I spent 18 years in as a teacher in &#8220;traditional&#8221; classrooms, teaching grades 1st-4th at the elementary level and 6th grade Language Arts in middle school. While teaching, my passion was always on literacy and instilling a passion for reading in my students. The little girl who always had her nose stuck in a book and wanted to have bookshelves lining my the walls of my bedroom, now gets to live out that dream here at FCA! My husband and I have 2 sons who keep us VERY busy with school, sports &amp; marching band. Our oldest recently started college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. We love all things adventure and travel. Road trips to hike mountains &amp; explore this beautiful country are our favorite kind of adventures.
